ICF Gateway Management · Mediterranean & Europe
Who manages ICF Gateway?

ICF Gateway is the public platform and service brand. It is implemented by ECITD, while member-facing operational communications are handled through ICF Gateway Management.

Is ICF Gateway only for organisations in Egypt?

The Gateway is launched from Egypt and designed for wider Mediterranean participation. Eligibility for specific calls and services depends on the country, programme and official rules.

What membership options are available?

ICF Gateway offers three organisational pathways: ICF Gateway Access for intelligence, visibility and network access; ICF Innovation Readiness for active pipeline and readiness support; and ICF Strategic Advisory for an integrated annual advisory relationship. Tailored institutional, corporate, funder and ecosystem partnerships may be scoped separately.

What is the annual fee?

ICF Gateway Access is EUR 80 per year. Its 2026 South Mediterranean regional rate is EUR 32 per year, subject to legal-establishment verification and membership approval. ICF Innovation Readiness is EUR 900 per year. ICF Strategic Advisory is EUR 7,000 per year.

What is the difference between the three membership pathways?

ICF Gateway Access provides targeted intelligence, limited advisory access, visibility and partner opportunities. ICF Innovation Readiness adds a prioritised annual opportunity map, quarterly reviews, up to six expert hours and one selected readiness screening. ICF Strategic Advisory provides an agreed annual plan, a dedicated advisory lead, monthly strategic reviews and up to 80 expert hours allocated across agreed priority work.

Does membership include full proposal preparation?

Not automatically. ICF Gateway Access and ICF Innovation Readiness receive preferential rates for separately scoped assignments. ICF Strategic Advisory may include proportionate concept-to-application support within its agreed annual workplan, but full coordinator-level proposals, comprehensive EIC applications and work beyond the allocation remain separately scoped.

Are unused Strategic Advisory hours carried forward?

No. The annual allocation is managed under an agreed workplan and may be reviewed quarterly, but unused hours expire at the end of the membership year.

Does ICF Gateway guarantee funding?

No. ICF Gateway provides intelligence, readiness support, partner access and professional advisory services. Funders, investors and programme authorities make all final decisions.

What is included in consultation access?

The applicable membership allocation covers orientation, eligibility clarification, readiness assessment and recommended next steps. It does not provide unlimited consulting or automatically include full proposal drafting.

What is the difference between membership and professional services?

Membership provides defined access, advisory entitlements and preferential rates. Professional assignments outside the included membership allocation are separately scoped and confirmed in writing.

How are alerts targeted?

Alerts can be matched using sector, organisation type, innovation stage, R&D capacity, funding interests and partnership needs.

Will private financial details be published?

No. Exact turnover and project budgets are not requested for the public profile. Private segmentation data is excluded from public APIs and profiles.
