ICF Gateway Terms of Use — Account Services

These approved Terms govern public ICF Gateway accounts and protected account services. They do not replace the separate membership application, offline-payment or professional-service terms.

ICF Gateway Management · Mediterranean & Europe
01

1. Operator and acceptance

ICF Gateway is implemented by ECITD. By creating or using an account, the user agrees to the approved version of these Terms and the corresponding Privacy Policy. The authenticated user must have authority to provide any organisation information entered through the account.

02

2. A free account is not membership

A free ICF Gateway account provides access only to the account features made available for that status. It does not constitute membership, approve a membership application, confirm payment, create consultation credits, activate member benefits, publish a member profile or provide a member badge.

03

3. Membership application and activation

Membership requires a separate application, administrative review, decision and activation under the existing membership process. Offline payment remains separate from account registration. Active-member access depends on the authoritative membership, payment, consent, profile and publication records maintained by ICF Gateway.

04

4. Account identity and security

Users must authenticate through an approved provider, provide accurate setup information, protect access to the relevant Google or email account and notify ICF Gateway of suspected misuse. Users must not share sessions, impersonate another person or organisation, circumvent access controls, interfere with the service or attempt to obtain private records.

05

5. Suspension and termination

ICF Gateway may suspend sessions or accounts where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, security incidents, false information, unauthorised access, improper redistribution, legal or compliance concerns, or material breach of these Terms. A suspended or expired membership may lose active-member entitlements while the underlying free Site account remains available unless that account is also suspended.

06

6. Funding intelligence is not a guarantee

Funding profiles, search results, insights and recommendations are screening and planning information. They are not legal, tax, regulated financial or investment advice and do not guarantee eligibility, consortium acceptance, partner selection, investment or funding. Users must verify current deadlines, eligibility and conditions against the official funder documents before acting.

07

7. Responsible use and redistribution

Protected funding intelligence, curated profiles, resource-library materials and account content may be used for the user’s legitimate professional activities. Users must not scrape, resell, republish, systematically redistribute, reverse engineer or use protected content to build a competing database or service without written permission. Official source documents remain subject to their own terms.

08

8. Member Network use

Member Network information is provided for responsible professional discovery. Users must not use it for unsolicited bulk marketing, harassment, identity profiling, unauthorised data enrichment or attempts to obtain private contact details. Public profiles are based on approved and consented information and do not constitute due diligence, certification or endorsement.

09

9. Moderated partnership introductions

Partnership and introduction requests are reviewed and moderated. Submission does not guarantee approval, a response, an introduction or a successful partnership. Confidential or private information is shared only within the recorded consent and administrative review process. Users remain responsible for their own due diligence, negotiations and agreements.

10

10. Membership benefits

Member benefits depend on active membership status, the applicable membership period, operational availability and any stated conditions. Workshops and events are subject to schedule, capacity and registration rules. Discounts apply only to specifically designated services. Major proposal, project-development and implementation work is separately scoped and quoted.

11

11. Consultation credits

The standard annual entitlement is sixty minutes for an active membership year after required profile completion, normally used as two thirty-minute consultations or one sixty-minute clinic. It covers eligibility clarification, route assessment, opportunity prioritisation, readiness gaps and recommended next steps. It excludes free proposal drafting, full-proposal review, guaranteed outcomes, legal advice and regulated financial advice. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, depend on adviser availability and expire at the end of the relevant membership period unless an authorised exception is recorded.

12

12. Member badge

An approved digital member badge indicates active participation in ICF Gateway only. It is not a funder endorsement, professional certification, financial assessment or guarantee of competence. It must not be altered or used after membership expires or is suspended.

13

13. External services and links

The Site may link to official funder portals, the ECITD Funding Support Portal and other third-party services. Those services have separate authentication, availability, privacy and contractual terms. A link does not imply shared sign-on, endorsement or responsibility for third-party content.

14

14. Availability and changes

ICF Gateway may maintain, improve, suspend or discontinue features where necessary for security, law, provider changes or service development. Material changes to these Terms will be issued as a new version and, where required, presented for acceptance before continued use.

15

15. Account deletion and preserved records

A user may request account deletion. ICF Gateway may retain or de-identify records where reasonably necessary for legal, contractual, payment, audit, fraud-prevention, security, dispute or membership-history purposes. Deletion of a Site account does not require deletion of records that must lawfully be preserved.

16

16. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable to ECITD’s operation in Egypt, without limiting mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about these Terms should be sent to info@icf-gateway.org. Final governing-law, dispute-resolution and liability wording requires owner and legal approval before public launch.
